Spielwarenmesse 2024. Outcomes. Sharing our impressions of Spielwarenmesse 2024, we can’t but start with one very important fact: we launched a new brand in 2020, which wasn’t a favourable period of time, and our sales started in conditions of the overall market decline in most countries, however, we managed to make a real breakthrough in the global market!😎 The Trade Fair was very important for us not only as an opportunity to expand our sales territories, but also as a chance to evaluate results of our products launch in new markets in 2023. Currently, Kids Hits toys can be bought in 20 countries, our toys already talk in 7 languages and occupy prominent places on shelves in stores, demonstrating a steady growth in sales. We put lots of love in toys production and pay close attention to details - and the global market responds in kind, showing that we have been moving in the right direction. We have been building up the momentum! Our partners visited us in person to share results of the successful progress (very inspiring!), and we discussed the prospects of further development and made plans. The major outcomes of the exhibition appeared to be confirmation of cooperation with 8 new countries as well as the fact that our toys are going to be adapted to at least 5 new languages! Indeed, we want children's favourite toys use the same language as the little ones do, which will make learning at play even more fun and effective🤓. Despite the fact that the total number of visitors of Spielwarenmesse 2024 on the whole was smaller in comparison with the previous year, we were pleased to see our booth crowded with the quality (target) audience. We are grateful to all our visitors for all the kind words - which are so important for us! - not only about our toys, but also about our team. Thank you very much!❤️ Everyone was attracted by our stand, our team did their best to make it convenient, stylish and engaging. Ever heard of Strategic Overproduction? And why are we telling people to pay what they want? 🤔 Black Friday, special offers, sales, sales, sales. Discounts are an essential part of the sporting goods industry. But what seems to be a nice thing for the end consumer is often the result of strategic overproduction and has serious implications for fair production conditions and the environmental footprint of the industry as a whole. Furthermore, responsible brands that produce with more expensive materials and depend on proper price stability have a hard time convincing customers to buy products for a full but fair price. That’s why at WINQS we came up with our campaign #PayWhatIsFair, drawing attention to the issue of overproduction. At the ongoing Berlin Marathon Expo you will find plenty of places offering heavily discounted products again. How shall a new brand compete? Well, when visitors come to our booth, co-organized with Active Giving, we let them decide how much you want to pay. But… They receive an interval with a minimum price - that’s the price that was necessary to get the product made and delivered under fair conditions with high-quality and eco-friendly materials - and a full price, which is actually the price for our business to work. Before they decide what to pay, we explain how pricing works and what true costs are… and why strategic overproduction is a big problem. And let us tell you, after understanding the message, almost noone paid the minimum price, often people preferred to pay the full price. How good is your after sales service? I bought the knife at the bottom of the picture in Aachen, Germany in 2001 and a few months ago, the handle failed. Those nice people at Wusthof have just replaced it free of charge under their limited lifetime guarantee, twenty three years after we purchased it. Having run a retail business in the past, I know how important after sales is - look after your customers and they will come back and they will also spread the word. #customerservice #retail #guarantee
