Great news to see major investment of a US-based IT leader in Germany … but in the other hand, if there isn't German or European investment at least at the same magnitude, it's clear what this means: increased dependence on technology and infrastructure owned and controlled by non-European interests, and therefore a further loss of technological sovereignty. So, with investments like this, it becomes more urgent and important to ensure European investments happen as well … and if they do, everyone wins.
