Imagine your EV battery is now end-of-life (from a car's perpective) And you have 2 choices, besides just giving away your old battery... 1. Get paid to recycle the battery, which helps to offset a significant portion of your new battery cost, or... 2. You pay a fee to add your 'depleted' EV battery to your solar-coupled battery (removal and re-install as 1 cost) , which is way cheaper than buying another "powerwall". And you start making even more money from your growing VPP (Virtual Power Plant) Anyone aware of programs like these yet? The EV push is real! The problem is industry standards can be met, but restriction is something some states and government haven’t had the chance to address. Example: converting an entire plant to EV forklifts, 30 for example would have more electric draw than the city it would be located in. How could the economy afford the upkeep of power demand for the plants building the EVs themself let alone drivers barely able to find recharge stations along their commutes.
