We’re investing ~€550mn in team.blue, Europe’s leading digital enabler for entrepreneurs and Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs). The transaction values team.blue at €4.8bn making it one of the largest privately owned technology companies in Europe, serving 3.3m SMBs/entrepreneurs across 22 European countries. CPP Investments has provided Credit financing to Sosteneo, to support their acquisition of a portfolio of Italian energy transition infrastructure from Enel. The portfolio includes battery energy storage system and open-cycle gas turbine projects and has a total combined capacity of 2.6GW.   “Battery energy storage systems and open-cycle gas turbines are two flexible and reliable solutions to support Italy’s energy transition efforts. We are pleased to be partnering with Sosteneo on these projects by providing long-term and flexible capital, which we believe will provide a promising source of risk-adjusted returns for the CPP Fund", said Geoffrey Souter, Managing Director, Head of Real Assets Credit at CPP Investments. https://lnkd.in/ggtu_TWx
