CPC's Danielle Gasperini was grateful to present at the Training Conference at the NJ Child Placement Advisory Council at the NJ Department of Children and Families Training Academy. Highlighting CPC's Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Program, Danielle discussed the importance of timely, community based early intervention.

LGBTQI+ youth face a nationwide mental health crisis, and almost half of LGBTQI+ kids say they seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year. The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline offers specialized services for LGBTQI+ youth and young adults who want to connect with a counselor. To speak with someone specifically focused on meeting these needs, call 988 and select option 3, text “pride” to 988, or access the service via chat.

Effective treatments for serious mental illnesses and substance use recovery are available at CPC. Evidence based treatments, support systems and connection can help you manage these challenges.
