Nice little article on the difference of Autoparts. I added this in the comments: Thanks for the clarification. I'll likely repost this with one addition - OEA. It's also aftermarket. I've seen them with good ratings, but they are generally regarded as lower quality than the OE or OEM parts. This is because warranties are often nullified with them and other people say that they are likely to be less durable and with the wrong fitment.

5 years ago, this was me. I was working at Cazoo, trying to figure out how process and purchase 1,000s of cars. Now, I wish I had this solution back then, it would have saved me a lot of headache! Who said cars? For me, the great hype is that SRAM, LLC broadcasted the news about the problem and its solution through a didactic video, clear releases, and on Instagram. Nowaday’s ways. Not the case of a silent standpoint or cryptic statements that you need to read thoroughly three times to guess what is being said, or not. Problems will arise. Sooner or later. And they will be spotted and known. Yes, sooner or later again. So, an early and transparent reaction should be the procedure. Sadly, promptness is not always a fact. Neither transparency when recalling. SRAM, LLC seems to have solved, at least, the latter.

As most of you will know as a buyer, this is the date the car was advertised, but backwards, so this particular vehicle was advertised on the 17th January 2024. This is always good information to know when buying stock as it gives you an idea of how long certain vehicles have been in stock, and if privately buying can determine how long their car has been advertised, and obviously not sold.
