Rupak Gohain and I had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Neeraj Mandloi, Principal Secretary for the Madhya Pradesh Urban Development & Housing Department (MPUDHD) of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh with the support of Shamli Menon in the US Consulate of Mumbai. With MPUDHD’s focus on expanding the Bhopal Metro, achieving large scale irrigation, and introducing several iconic buildings in Bhopal and Indore in order to encourage economic growth in the State of Madhya Pradesh, Autodesk was pleased to highlight how Building Information Modelling (BIM), a 3D-modeling process that facilitates information management throughout an infrastructure asset’s lifecycle, can make these and other projects more efficient, productive, and sustainable. Across India, including the State of Madhya Pradesh, the Government is pursuing large-scale infrastructure projects to drive economic growth and maintain competitiveness, and Autodesk is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions that can help ensure these projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with less waste, improving value for public money. Thank you Shamli Menon and the U.S. Commercial Service India for the opportunity; Autodesk looks forward to further engagement with MPUDHD.
