Bridging you then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs-- he wants to please his commanding officer. Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 2 Timothy:1-7

United we stand, divided we fall. Every time we think Blue States versus Red States, the terrorists who did this win. They tried to kill all of us. To make us afraid. We have nothing to fear but fear itself, is as true today as it was in WWII. No one can beat us but ourselves. Honor the memories of the fallen by becoming an informed citizen. Watch and listen to all sides. Think critically for yourself and decide based on what you determine to be true. You have to work at it. Freedom is not free. One hint, follow the money to figure out the real motivations. You might be surprised what you figure out. Being a good citizen takes more than one day a year. #democracymatters

Everything begins with a word. Words consist of vibration and sound. It is these vibrations that create the very reality that surrounds us. Words are the creator; the creator of our universe, our lives, our reality. Without words, a thought can never become a reality. This is something that we have been taught throughout history, as far back as the Bible, which writes of ‘God’ – whatever that word may mean to you – saying ‘let there be light’ and as a result creating light. So what can we learn from this? If our words and thoughts are the very tools with which we create our reality, then surely they are our most powerful tool yet? Surely we should only pick the very best words in order to create our very best reality?

A Barnabas Word 7/11/2024 ‘Warfare” J A Poulson Sr “A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; [6] For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.” Prov. 24:5-6 NKJV We employ similar strategies in spiritual warfare, a term that refers to the spiritual battles we face in our lives, and secular battles. We seek and fight with able, available, and anointed soldiers to ensure victory. 1. Embrace the power of god-given directions that foster obedience and lead to the stated outcome. (Josh.6:1-5) 2. Ensure you have and stand with like-minded persons to triumph in the battle. (Jud.7:4-8) 3. Enjoin yourself to the right people who will confidently fight with you. (1 Chron.11:10) Remember, the battle is not yours but the Lord’s. As we follow Him, victory is not just a possibility but a promise! Consider and contemplate these things!

This Memorial Day, as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, let's also consider how we can support our veterans who continue to protect us in new ways, especially in the field of cybersecurity. Veterans bring a unique set of skills to cybersecurity—discipline, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of risk management. Default action and decisiveness also make them invaluable in incidents response. They have defended our freedoms on the battlefield, and now many of them are on the front lines of our digital defenses. Here’s how we can honor their service: 1. Hire Veterans: Actively seek out veterans for cybersecurity roles. Their military experience provides a strong foundation for tackling cyber threats. The Honor Foundation is a great source. 2. Provide Training: Offer specialized training programs to help veterans transit ion into cybersecurity careers. This not only benefits them but also strengthens our security infrastructure. 3. Mentorship Programs: Establish mentorship initiatives that connect veterans with experienced cybersecurity professionals. This helps them navigate the corporate world and develop new skills. 4. Support Networks: Create support networks within organizations to address the unique challenges veterans may face in the civilian workforce. 5. Raise Awareness: Advocate for the importance of cybersecurity and the valuable role veterans play in protecting our digital assets. Just as they protected our nation, veterans now help safeguard our businesses and personal data. By integrating their skills into cybersecurity, we not only honor their past service but also enhance our security measures. This Memorial Day, let’s recognize the ongoing contributions of our veterans. They continue to serve and protect, ensuring our digital world remains secure.
