Our Meeting with In Sue's Name Today, we had the incredible honor of meeting David Alan Taylor, the inspiring founder of In Sue's Name - a charity that holds a special place in our hearts. This charity was established by David and his family in loving memory of Sue, a remarkable woman who tragically lost her battle with a brain tumour in 2011 at the young age of 42, leaving behind two beautiful children. But today, we're not just here to share Sue's story. We want to introduce you all to something amazing that we've been working on - Influential Stars✨ with experiences In partnership with Virgin Experience Days. Our project is set to launch at the end of October 2023, and we couldn't be more excited! 🚀 Our mission is simple: to raise awareness about brain tumours and fundraise for brain tumour charities. But that's not all - we are committed to supporting charities across the entire UK! 🇬🇧 Now, here's where we need your help! David has reached out to all of you, our incredible community, to see if anyone would be interested in volunteering for this project. We need passionate individuals who can lend their expertise in marketing, PR, project management, and so much more. We are in desperate need of your skills and dedication. 💪 We want to be transparent - We are not a registered charity. We are a business, a startup with big dreams. Just like any new venture, we need to wait for funds to come to fruition before we can offer salaries to our team. But fear not, our voluntary work won't last forever. We are confident that with your support, we'll soon be able to compensate our incredible team for their hard work and dedication. So, what are you waiting for? Click the link in my bio to find out more about our project and how you can get involved. Together, we can make a difference, not only for brain tumour patients and their families but for all charities across the UK. Let's come together and create a future filled with hope and support. 💙 #InSuesName #InfluentialStars #CharityProject #MakingADifference #VolunteerOpportunity #GivingBack #UKCharities #BrainTumourAwareness https://lnkd.in/eHnxBHWV

i Film Heroes The Rescue Cat & Dog FilmMaker is the only 501(c)3 Non-Profit in the world that advocates for cats and dogs rescue by filming Movies of people in the Trenches - Social Impact Influencer
Watch this very important rescue movie and learn about the real world of dog rescues. Dan could volunteer at an animal shelter or a rescue, but his heart is out here, with the animals that are alone and afraid. The animals here depend on Dan's big heart, what money he has, and his energy. Who takes care of Dan? Who rescues the rescuer? He doesn't ask for anything for himself. I know that if he won the lottery tomorrow, every last dollar would go to dogs and people in need. True charity is selfless. Dan embodies that statement. The need is endless. Dan lives in that world. No one person can fix things. But, if each person does what they can, then things can get a little better for animals. I get so angry. I wish I could tell people "Stop dumping your dogs!" "Get your pets spayed and neutered!" "Build better shelters and open more sanctuaries!" If there were no more dogs dumped in quarries and fields, that would mend Dan's heart. Until then, I hope that more people will do what they can. I hope Dan gets a new van, more dog food, and his own basic needs met. What can I do to help heroes like Dan? It doesn't feel like much at all. It feels like one drop of water when what is needed is a storm. It's overwhelming and keeps me up at night sometimes. The heroes need help. Dan needs help. Please reach out to us if there is something that you can do. https://lnkd.in/ev72hq2X Please consider donating to iFilmHeroes.com. Your support means the world to us. Thank you for helping us continue our mission. #dogs #cats #animalrescue #Man #nonprofit #FilmMaker #people #USA

Founder and Director @The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc. Grief Coach|Author|Entrepreneur|ThoughtLeader Offers Grief Support and Education for Women Whose Mothers Have Transitioned| Grieving Unapologetically
@highlight I believe in people's goodness and that some people want to help in ways that significantly impact the lives of others. That's why I'm asking for your support of our fundraiser, Her Last Bow: https://lnkd.in/dmjUnvVx If you have ever had to bury your mother or mother figure, you know how painstakingly difficult it is to select a final outfit befitting of your loved one's final viewing. If you have not experienced this yet, you are fortunate, and one day, you will. What is more heartbreaking is that one day, someone will make that decision about you. We want to ease the financial burden for women who may not have the resources to bury their mother in the attire they wish to see their mother in one last time. If this pulls at your human heart, allow yourself a moment of compassion to donate to our fundraiser. Donations are tax-deductible. Your help can also consist of sharing this information with others. I want to acknowledge my long-time sister-friend Deborah A. Hoodfor sharing this with her generous friends and followers. Thank you so much, Deb. It made a difference. In closing, if you need additional reasons to donate, here are seven valid reasons why donating matters. Thank you for reading this. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for donating to our fundraiser. Making a Difference: Donating to charitable causes allows individuals to directly impact the lives of those in need, whether providing grief journals and funds for burial clothing, food, and shelter for people experiencing homelessness, funding medical research, or supporting education initiatives. It's an opportunity to be part of positive change in the world. Creating Meaningful Change: Charitable donations can create meaningful and lasting change in communities worldwide. Whether they fund sustainable development projects, support environmental conservation efforts or aid disaster relief; donations contribute to building a better future for everyone. Setting an Example: By donating to charitable causes, individuals set an example for others. Their actions inspire friends, family, and colleagues to contribute to causes they care about, amplifying the impact of their generosity. Building Stronger Communities: Charitable donations strengthen communities by supporting local organizations and initiatives that address community needs. By investing in their communities, individuals help create a more resilient and supportive environment for everyone. Creating a Legacy of Generosity: Charitable giving allows individuals to leave a lasting legacy of generosity and philanthropy. Whether through monetary donations, volunteering, or fundraising efforts, their contributions make a positive impact beyond their lifetime, leaving a meaningful mark on the world.

Case Study: Website for Olivia’s Herd - Supporting Mothers Experiencing the Loss of a Baby Background: Olivia’s Herd is a heartfelt support agency founded by a mother who experienced the loss of her baby, Olivia, due to a tragic incident. The agency provides a nurturing environment for mothers who have experienced the loss of a baby. The design incorporates warm, soothing colors and a soft gray background to create a calming and welcoming atmosphere for visitors seeking solace and information. Additionally, the site targets sponsors, non-profits, and individuals looking to offer their support and assistance to these mothers during their healing process. Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is taking part in the #BigGive Christmas Challenge to raise much-needed funds to sustain our world-leading training. RADA’s reputation for excellence of our training is known throughout the world. What is less well known is the devastating impact the pandemic had on our finances and ability to deliver this world class training. Today, 60% of our students are from low income backgrounds but student fees cover less than 25% of the cost of the training. We need to increase funding urgently to continue providing students with the highest standard of training that nurtures the next generation of creative leaders. All donations raised this week through the Big Give website will be doubled! • £15 could buy a newly published play script for the RADA Library • £100 could provide a student with hardship funding • £250 could fund a harness and safety ropes for Technical Theatre Arts students • £500 could fund a professional development workshop for final year students • £1,500 could pay for a BSL interpreter for five days, supporting D/deaf students and young people • £3,000 could pay for headshots for final year Acting students, preparing them for representation and employment
On #GivingTuesday we kick off our #BigGive Christmas Challenge to support the next generation of creative talent! From 28 Nov – 5 Dec, we’re taking part in the Big Give's Christmas Challenge and donations made during this time will be matched by our Champion, The Reed Foundation and individual pledgers.
