We have our team on board the Viking Line for the Cinderella Whisky Festival on the 15th-18th February 2024. Tying in with our 10th anniversary and Viking Line's 15th anniversary those on board will have the opportunity to purchase a specially selected sherry based cask, with only 224 bottles available. Rob Patchett, Global Whisky Ambassador & Cask Sales Manager will be on board giving daily masterclasses called 'English for Whisky' on the 12th & 13th. Lynsey Eades, International and Global Travel Retail Director said, "After a hugely successful launch on board last year we are thrilled to be back with an even broader range to excite and engage. This has been specifically tailored to offer all guests participating on Cinderella from Enthusiasts to the Curious! We will drive our English for Whisky campaign from our booth and through daily Masterclasses with our Global Brand Ambassador, Rob Patchett. Thanks to Carl Mörn, Michaela Weckman and the Viking Line Team for their continued support to the Cotswolds Distillery!" Does an Event Manager ever stop being an Event Manager, even on vacation? I can't help but stop when I see an outdoor event being organized – I have to approach, check what's happening, and see how it's being done. While on a catamaran, I talk to the captain about what possibilities he can offer his clients and what kind of event he could organize for them. During a wine tasting at a splendid winery, I envision an exclusive car launch or another product premiere held in the late afternoon, accompanied by excellent wine. Is this a professional quirk? No, it's just that I love what I do. I observe what others are doing with great interest and share my ideas with undisguised pleasure.
