When Negativity Comes Knocking ↙️ TAKE ACTION You’re going to run into negativity, it’s part of owning and operating a business 😉 It’s how you choose to RESPOND that makes all the difference. 🏁Here are a couple things to keep in mind when you come across a negative review: 1️⃣ Don’t respond immediately - step away from the keyboard, sleep on it, give yourself some time to react, process, then respond. 2️⃣ Try to fix the problem - Listen, show empathy, and work to turn that critic into a champion. If this doesn’t seem to be working then try to take it offline (phone, email, etc). 3️⃣ Be proactive on getting positive reviews - Get those #happycustomers to post their reviews on social, neighborhood directories, wherever your customers frequent most. 🔑 Key Takeaway: You can turn a critic into a CHAMPION. Any questions? Drop them in the comments below. Are we connected? If not, let’s change that 🔔 (ring bell to stay in touch) TAG a fellow business owner or friend who might need the extra push to take a closer look at their review process. 🧨A slow holiday week like this one might be a great opportunity to set aside some time and come up with a plan! #onlinereputationmanagement #onlinereputation #onlinereputationmarketing #negativereviews
"You can actually turn a critic into a champion." What an amazing insight.

Corey Perlman, CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) good stuff! I still quote your redzone analogy!
Corey, Critical insight! The sooner we embrace this concept as service providers, the better. The alternative may result in the erosion of available market share. This is foundational to business long term growth and longevity.
So many businesses don’t have a process for positive reviews. If you think about the last purchase you made, what was the deciding factor? I know for me it was the difference between that 4 ⭐️ and 5 ⭐️ review.
Love point number two - maybe there IS a problem you need to fix - and the point of stepping back from the emotion and processing it all is a wonderful human skill.
It's amazing how a well-thought-out response can shift the narrative!
