Built an eCom business to $12M+ revenue | I buy Gillette and other P&G brands

Pattern is the number one 3rd party seller on Amazon. They do $1,000,000+ in revenue PER DAY. Here’s how their business model works (and why you should copy it): Pattern grew from a living-room side hustle in 2013 to $1 BILLION in sales in 2022. They're now the largest third party seller on Amazon's US marketplace. 3 key things they do that have led to their massive success: 1) They work directly with brands Pattern doesn't chase short term wins flipping huge deals from wholesalers. They partner with brands, helping them GROW. They don't leach off existing sales, adding no value. And their agreements with brands are legally binding contracts that are *transferrable*. Aka: this business has huge resale value. 2) They control distribution One of the first things Pattern does when they begin working with a new brand: Get a handle on distribution. Easy to do when a brand mainly sells direct (or through a small handful of distributors). Extremely difficult when the brand is widely distributed. Distribution control is the key to enforcing exclusive agreements on Amazon. Pattern makes this a priority. 3) Incentives are aligned Pattern makes more money when the brands they represent make more money. Pattern makes the majority of their money on the resale of each product. So when one party wins, the other does too. Follow me @corey-ganim and repost ♻️ this to your network if you enjoyed!

Oh, you forgot - act like Vorys and carry a club around if another seller “dares” to sell the same product that you (Pattern) are selling. Even when the other sellers are valid, with valid supply chain documentation. Sorry, not cool Corey. I’m never going to be like Pattern, you aren’t, and no other 3P seller is going to be either - so why in the world are you telling us to be like them? Unreal.

Thankyou for this Corey. But when you said “They handle distribution” do you mean Pattern distribute the brands to other retailers? Please make me understand that part better
