The core principles of Agile remain constant. ⚡ Individuals and Interactions OVER Processes and Tools. ⚡ Working Software OVER Comprehensive Documentation. ⚡ Customer Collaboration OVER Contract Negotiation. ⚡ Responding to Change OVER following a Plan. We achieve this by: 🔗 Putting together fully integrated and vested teams. 🔗 Broadening the vision and knowledge of all participants. 🔗 Daily Standups to facilitate direct communications between all team members, including client stakeholders. 🔗 Using tools that facilitate close and easy collaboration, including video and virtual whiteboards. 🔗 Active project management. 🔗 Delivering using short iterations that result in better estimates and quality (software and team). 🔗 Pictures speak a thousand words, so we drive with prototypes and wireframes. 🔗 We test early and test often. 🔗 Establishing well-defined development practices. We believe an iterative agile process is key to delivering Quick Business Value for our customers. Metrics are more than just numbers in an Agile context — they're stories of progress, efficiency, and value. But not all metrics are created equal. Choosing the right metrics is critical because they inform decision-making, enable transparency, and drive continuous improvement. But what makes a metric 'right'? It should be: 🎯 Outcome-focused: Does it align with your business goals? 🎬 Actionable: Can you make decisions based on the data? 💡 Simple: Is it easy to understand for all stakeholders? 🕰️ Timely: Does it offer real-time insights for prompt action? Here are some metrics that tick these boxes and ring with Agile success: ➡️ Throughput: Track the number of work items completed in a time frame to gauge productivity. 🚲 Cycle Time: Measure the time taken from work start to completion to identify process efficiency. ⚒️ Work In Progress (WIP): Limit WIP to ensure quality and manage team workload effectively. 📉 Burndown Charts: Visualise progress and predict when work will be completed. 🐞 Escaped Defects: Track quality by understanding the issues that surface in production to customers. 😊 Customer Satisfaction: Gauge the value delivered through customer responses and interaction. Embracing these metrics can transform the way your teams operate, delivering not just work, but value. Dive deeper into each metric, tailor it to your context, and work with your teams to improve! What metrics do you use? #agile #metrics #continuousimprovement

I hate seeing waste in Agile processes – it can creep in unnoticed, but it eats away at your efficiency. It leads to delayed deliveries, increased costs, and frustrated teams. Waste can manifest as unnecessary meetings, excessive documentation, or even unclear objectives. 🗂️💼 Here are some steps you can take to reduce waste: Value Stream Mapping: Identify bottlenecks and areas where work piles up. Streamlining these can save time and resources. 🔍 Minimise Handoffs: Each handoff introduces the potential for errors and delays. Reduce unnecessary handoffs whenever possible. 🔽 Eliminate Unproductive Meetings: Cut down on meetings that don't directly contribute to value delivery. Keep them concise and purpose driven. 🚫 Prioritise User Stories: Focus on the most important user stories first to ensure you're delivering high-value features early. 🔝 Automate Repetitive Tasks: Look for opportunities to automate routine and repetitive tasks, saving time and reducing errors. 🔄️ 🔗 How do you deal with waste in your Agile workflows? What practical tips do you have to eliminate it? Please share your experiences in the comments below 👇 #WasteElimination #Efficiency #AgileTips

In an agile framework, key business metrics commonly used to track work progress include: 1) Velocity: The rate at which a team completes user stories or features during a sprint, helping estimate future workloads. 2) Lead Time: The time it takes for a task to move from the initial request to completion, indicating overall efficiency. 3) Cycle Time: The time taken to complete a specific task or user story, providing insights into process efficiency. 4) Burndown Chart: Shows the remaining work over time in a sprint, helping to assess if the team is on track to complete their commitments. 5) Cumulative Flow Diagram: Visualizes work items' flow through different stages, highlighting bottlenecks and process improvements. 6) Customer Satisfaction: Measured through feedback or Net Promoter Score (NPS), reflecting how well the delivered product meets customer needs. 7) Business Value Delivered: Tracks the value generated by completed features or user stories, helping prioritize work. 8) Defect Rate: Monitors the number of defects or issues discovered post-release, indicating product quality. Remember, the choice of metrics should align with your team's goals and the nature of your project. #agilemindset #agiletransformation #agileprojectmanagement #agilescrum
