As #PrideMonth comes to an end we wanted to reflect on this year’s celebrations to recognise our LGBTQIA+ communities around the world. Our Pride Network is our longest-running employee network at Convatec and we took the opportunity to recognise those members and allies through our Pride awards, who have made a big contribution to our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Wellbeing journey. As we build an inclusive business, colleagues have also been hearing from inspiring speakers on topics ranging from neurodiversity to inclusivity for transgender people. Diversity not only enriches our company, but also drives innovation, creativity, and success to improve care for the people we serve. #WeAreConvatec #ForeverCaring #ForeverConvatec

The LGBTQIA+ community experiences pay gaps, yet many organizations don't even know this because the organization doesn't track this information. Actions you can take: 1. Get LGBTQIA+ employee feedback on their workplace experiences from new hires to departing employees. 2. Add more gender options to your new hire forms, such as gender non-binary, trans, prefer not to share. 3. Assess your pay practices with an LGBTQIA+ lens through a pay equity assessment. #equalpay #pridemonth #payequity #payequitybook #nonprofithr
Did you know the wage gap for LGBTQIA+ employees can be as high as 32%, with transgender individuals and LGBTQIA+ people of color facing even greater disparities? As we celebrate Pride Month, it’s crucial to recognize and address the persistent wage gaps faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals. At Loftis Partners, we are committed to promoting fair and equitable compensation for all. Let’s champion diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace. Join us in advocating for LGBTQIA+ equal pay this Pride Month. #PrideMonth #PayEquity #LGBTQRights #HumanResources #LoftisPartners

As we come to the end of Transgender Awareness Week 2023, it is important to reflect on how by recognizing, supporting, and honouring the trans community, we can continue to make strides towards a better world not only for transgender and gender-diverse people but for everyone. In our dedication to trans-inclusive healthcare, we prioritize creating an environment that goes beyond clinical excellence. We strive to cultivate a sense of belonging, understanding that every patient's journey is unique. By fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and empathy, we aim to alleviate the barriers that transgender and gender-diverse individuals often face in health care settings. Together, let's amplify our commitment to a world where everyone, regardless of gender identity, feels seen, heard, and valued. #TransAwarenessWeek

Fletchers Group is committed to providing a supportive, equal and inclusive environment for our colleagues to both work and grow. Today, we are proud to launch our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy – Accelerate 2028. Accelerate 2028 is the result of a nine-month project, in which we undertook an audit of our internal and external processes, policies, and practices, and represents a strong statement of our obligation to make positive change with real purpose and action. The strategy outlines the practical steps we will be taking to execute our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion across all levels of the business over the next five years. We are already doing lots of positive work to address key inclusion issues including the recent introduction of employee-led networks for our LGBTQ+ and Neurodiversity colleagues, and the launch of a Menopause Support Group. While we are pleased with the progress we have made, Accelerate 2028 recognises the need to continue to move forward with clear actions and intention, with three key areas of focus: 🎯 Improving gender diversity in senior roles 🎯 Improving ethnic diversity across the firm 🎯 Improving social mobility and widening access to the legal profession Check out our video for more information on what Fletchers is doing, and why and how we are doing it - featuring our Responsible Business Manager Reece Hobson-Adams, People Director Tim Scott, and CEO Peter Haden 👇 #Accelerate2028 #Equity #Diversity #Inclusion #EDI #ResponsibleBusiness

As organizations grapple with today's realities, employee morale, and pathways toward a more successful future, it is imperative that leaders consider how their culture uniquely impacts those most marginalized. Psychological safety is a critical ingredient that enables a more positive employee experience and business outcomes. Without it, retention is at risk, and is more pronounced for women, people of color, LGBTQ+ employees, people with disabilities, and more. Read more in HR Dive: https://lnkd.in/dUznJhGa

Today, we're sharing our annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Report, continuing our commitment to equity in our work, culture, and industry. We know there is more work to be done, but we take this moment to recognize the people across all levels of the firm who have dedicated their talents and time to advancing our practice and our industry. The report features the groups, initiatives, and projects undertaken over the last year that bring issues of equity to the forefront; measures progress towards the goals in our #DEIActionPlan; and offers a transparent look at the strategies we have implemented to cultivate greater diversity, equity, and inclusion in our practice. Highlights from the past year include receiving an Equality 100 Award from Human Rights Campaign for our leadership in LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace, increasing our firmwide representation of women to 47%, and improving visibility for our Employee Resource Groups. We are energized and committed to building on this progress. Learn more and read the full report at https://lnkd.in/gWXZfW45

As we are traversing June, we are excited to celebrate #PrideMonth here at Home Instead Wembley. This month is a time to honour the LGBTQ+ community, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusivity. Our differences are what propel us forward, creating a compassionate and inclusive environment for all the older adults we care for, the Care Professionals we employ, and the colleagues we're fortunate to work with. 🏳️🌈 At Home Instead Wembley, we proudly support diversity and strive to create a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and included. Here’s how we can support and raise awareness during Pride Month: 1. Educate and Inform: We encourage everyone to learn about the history and significance of Pride Month. Understanding the challenges and triumphs of the LGBTQ+ community helps us to be better allies and advocates. There are many online resources, documentaries, and books available that provide valuable insights into the LGBTQ+ experience. 2. Show Your Support: Consider wearing rainbow colors or Pride-themed accessories throughout the month. These small gestures can have a big impact, showing our clients and colleagues that we stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. 3. Attend Events: Many cities and communities host events, parades, and workshops during Pride Month. Participating in these events can be a fun and meaningful way to celebrate and show support. The London event is on 29th of June. 4. Foster Inclusivity: Inclusivity starts with us. Let’s ensure that our language and actions are respectful and inclusive of everyone. This means being mindful of pronouns, avoiding assumptions about someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity, and creating a welcoming environment for all. 5. Share Stories: If you have personal experiences or stories related to LGBTQ+ issues that you feel comfortable sharing, please do. Sharing stories can help build understanding and empathy within our team. At Home Instead Wembley, we believe that diversity makes us stronger. Let’s come together to celebrate Pride Month and continue to promote a culture of acceptance and respect. #HomeInsteadWembley #CareIsCare #PrideMonth #LondonPride2024🌈

It's disheartening to see some people react with hostility when traditionally marginalized groups gain visibility. When those who have always been represented see others finally getting a seat at the table, it can feel like something is being taken away from them. But representation matters for everyone. Diverse voices and faces on our screens reflect the world we live in. We must challenge the narrative that inclusion is a threat. It's not about taking away; it's about adding richness to our stories. Let's celebrate diversity and push back against stigmatization. #RepresentationMatters #Diversity #Inclusion #Equality

Why is it that in a world full of challenges that need our immediate attention, the focus shifts to making the lives of transgender people even more difficult? We are real people facing real issues. And yet, societal efforts and policies seem disproportionately focused on the wrong priorities. It's time to redirect our focus towards creating solutions and providing support where it's desperately needed. It's time we reassess what really matters and work together towards a more inclusive, supportive, and understanding society. Because at the end of the day, improving lives, all lives, should be our ultimate priority. #Equality #Inclusion #Transgender #TransLivesMatter
