It is with great excitement that we can announce the official completion of the Fort Liberty barracks renovation project!
While a project of this magnitude would typically require 30 months to complete, Conti Federal completed the project in only 11 months.
When it was discovered that Fort Liberty, one of the largest military installations in the world, had a mold infestation in three of its barracks, 1,200 soldiers had to be displaced and Conti Federal had to quickly execute a solution.
Through a Rapid Disaster Infrastructure contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District, Conti Federal was awarded the $69.4 million contract to restore the barracks on an expedited schedule... which is exactly what we did.

I can honestly say that I worked with the best team to accomplish this feat even though I joined the project late. What an honor. Great people, great teamwork and communication. Congratulations as well to Conti Federal Services as a whole. Well deserved accolades!

Government contracting is NOT ⛔ a monolith!
There is no one-size-fits-all 👖here.
Did you know 💡 that there are almost 100 different #govcon departments at the federal level?
These departments, like the United States Department of Defense, have agencies underneath them, like the 🥾US Army, the 🔱US Navy ⚓, and the 🚀United States Air Force, 🛰as an example.
There are over 230 of those 🏛agencies, each under their respective department....
AND THEN, there are over 6600 offices 🏢 under their respective department and agency.
SO DO YOU KNOW YOUR 😎CUSTOMER??

The White House opposing this way overdue pay raise shows how tone-deaf Washington has become with the issues impacting servicemembers and their families.
I understand it’s hard to find funding with all that is going on, but having lived on that kind of a budget while I was in service, I know how important those raises are for quality of life.
This raise would bring the minimum salary for Junior Enlisted Service Members from $26k to $30k.
https://lnkd.in/eR5piT9Y
I wanted to let you know that you read that correctly. Workers in that same stage of life who are not facing the challenges of military service are seeing hourly wages at $20. That pencils out to be $41,600 for far less skilled roles.
Would you volunteer your life and health for $30k? Patriotism only gets us so far, and it’s hard to focus on your job when making that kind of money in our economy. PS There is plenty of overtime in the military, and it’s unpaid, unlike their civilian peers.
It’s important to note that the services are all struggling with recruiting, and this type of grandstanding sends a clear message of support for military members.
Waiting for the results of the quadrennial pay review is a stall tactic. It does nothing to help junior enlisted dealing with the financial issues of inflation and constant PCS moves that greatly impact spouse employment.

The White House announced Tuesday that it opposes the 19.5% pay raise House lawmakers are considering for junior enlisted service members, saying it’s too expensive and is premature, given that the administration is reviewing military pay, as Military.com reported.
“The administration is strongly committed to taking care of our service members and their families and appreciates the [House Armed Services Committee’s] concern for the needs of the most junior enlisted members, but strongly opposes making a significant, permanent change to the basic pay schedule before the completion of the Fourteenth Quadrennial Review of Military Compensation,” the White House said in a statement.
Congressional analysts said Monday the pay raise would cost the same as two new aircraft carriers, according to Military Times.

How many Marines are in an infantry squad?
A topic of debate for decades.
For Force Design 2030, the infantry squad went from 13 to 15.
https://lnkd.in/enPhYzex
But it wasn't always that way.
As the USMC reduced infantry squads from 13 to 11 in the mid-1980s while increasing firepower 25%, the service returned to 13 members under General Kelley, as indicated in the November 1985 issues of "Marines" (Vol. XIV, No.11).
If one reads carefully, the service divested of future capabilities to invest in current capabilities, specifically personnel structure, understanding the future capabilities wouldn't be available to the Marine Corps for a few years.
History doesn't repeat, but it often rhymes...
What will Force Design 2050 look like?

Blood and war are inextricably linked.
The military has learned and relearned this lesson in every war over the past century.
