"The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function." - F. Scott Fitzgerald
Earlier this week, I listened to the Global Thought Leaders Summit 2023 facilitated by Implement Consulting Group. It was an exceptionally produced event with fantastic keynote speakers and senior executives to present an in-depth discussion on making choices.
The summit delved deep into the intricate world of choice-making in an era of paradoxes, exploring the strategies to leverage creative tensions, the essential capabilities needed to address crises at scale, and the imperative shift in mindset for continuous integrative thinking in a paradoxical world.
Listening to Roger Martin, Wendy K. Smith, Stig Albertsen, Signe Gro Jensen, Henriette Hallberg Thygesen and Lars Sandahl Sørensen was incredibly inspiring. It stimulated me to deepen my understanding of the topics of integrative thinking, the need for being comfortable with ambiguity, as well as Both/And thinking, an approach I have been inspired by most of my life already as I see great power in making two opposing ideas meet and create an even more effective option - utilising the best of both worlds.

I'm eager to hear your thoughts on defining paradoxes and what measures industries and the economy need to take for sustainable, long-term resolution. Let's continue this insightful conversation! 🌐✨
