In April, Comptroller Lierman visited Tilghman Island Seafood, which is dedicated to restoring the Chesapeake Bay’s ecosystem by harvesting invasive blue wild catfish. By supporting their efforts, we not only protect our beloved Chesapeake Bay but also enjoy delicious seafood!

Recently, Comptroller Lierman joined Councilmember Kate Stewart and Delegate David Moon to tour the progress of the Purple Line. As a Board of Public Works member, Comptroller Lierman approves state contracts, including those for the Purple Line. This project is crucial for enhancing public transit, reducing traffic, and connecting our communities!

The Maryland Office of the Comptroller has issued an updated report for adult-use cannabis sales tax revenue collected between January and March 2024 in the Capital and Central regions. The amended report does not change the overall revenue collected statewide in the first quarter of the calendar year, which was previously reported on June 26.
