Today is #WorldFoodSafetyDay - an important reminder that serving safe food is a core value throughout Compass Group. We all have a role to play in safely serving guests all day, every day. As recognized by International Association for Food Protection as the 2023 Black Pearl Award winner, our strong culture of care is built on shared responsibility, working together to ensure the food we produce is safe, delicious and a reflection of our high standards.

Purchasing local products has been a critical part of Compass Group's purchasing philosophy for years. We are proud to support the communities where we live, work and operate our businesses. This summer, our BIPOC Farmer Program enters its third year. Our goal with the program is to grow our network of diverse suppliers by bringing more BIPOC farmers and their produce into our accounts. We are proud to share that our partner from Henderson, NC, the Brown Family Farm, recently won Small Farmers of the Year through the NC AT&T’s Cooperative Extension program. What amazing work from such a fantastic farm!
