If you do this, you're wasting your client's time » Asking questions that you could easily google » Randomly gathering data on WhatsApp about their brand » Doing only what the client requests » Waiting for their approval for every small thing » Falling back on the client when you're stuck Seems obvious? Isn’t it? But few people look out for it. So next time try this instead, ⤷ Search on Google before asking questions or technical terms ⤷ Make a client questionnaire and get a proper written brief (For verbal briefings - record calls with the client’s permission) ⤷ If you have a better approach with your expertise, educate the client ⤷ Be a leader, rely on your judgment for small things ⤷ Before asking the client for help, try at least 3 ways to tackle it Your client has a gazillion things to do. Make their life easier, not busier. Be a problem-solver. Check for little things that aren’t so little. Upgrade yourself to make it a quality experience. Have more to add to the list of little things? Share your thoughts. #linkedingrowth #premiumservice #personaldevelopment #personalgrowth #writingcommunity

When I got a WhatsApp message asking for a favour, I knew what was coming. Less than 24 hours before the big Agencynomics event in London last month, I got a text from Dan Archer. I had two choices; 1 - To ignore the text, carry on with my business, and attend the event as planned to help film our client Phil Blackmore. or 2 - To answer the text, expecting it to be a request to speak on stage in front of hundreds of people. Of course, I went for option 2, even though every bone in my body told me to go with the easy option; the easy option would never be an option for me. I was right. Unfortunately, one of the speakers got COVID, so I was asked to join the discussion on marketing and sales for agencies. I spoke on stage at this event a few years ago and spent months preparing for it and overthinking what would happen. This time less than 24 hours. Did I plan? Yes, of course I did. I thought about three points I wanted to add value to, and then I thought about the key themes in each of those. There was no scripting, just bullet points and real-life related stories. I remember stories, so I find it easy to speak using them. It was a privilege to be asked again to speak and for others to have the confidence in me to step up on stage at the last minute. Thanks, Abbe Wheeler and 🌵Dan Archer. BTW - if anyone is out there with their heart telling them they would love to speak on stage one day, but their head is telling them otherwise, reach out to me. If I can do it, anyone can. #publicspeaking #personalbranding

It is crucial to keep professionalism on Business WhatsApp messaging. Today we would like to take this opportunity to share some insights regarding etiquette in business WhatsApp introductions and communication: 1. Initial Message: Start with a polite and friendly greeting on WhatsApp. You might say, "Hello [Recipient's Name], I hope you're doing well." 2. Self-Introduction: In a concise manner, introduce yourself by mentioning your name, position, and company. 3. Provide Context: Explain why you are reaching out and the purpose of the introduction. Be brief but clear about how the recipient may benefit from the introduction. 4. Highlight Relevance: Explain why the introduction is relevant or beneficial to both parties. Make it clear how their interests or goals align. 5. Offer Contact Information: Let the recipient know that you can be reached via WhatsApp or provide an alternative method of contact, such as email. 6. Respect Time Zones: Be mindful of time zones when sending WhatsApp messages to avoid disturbing the recipient during non-business hours. 7. Professional Tone: Maintain a professional and respectful tone in your WhatsApp communication. Avoid using slang or overly informal language. Remember that WhatsApp is a more informal platform compared to email, so your tone should be friendly but still professional. By using both email and WhatsApp appropriately for business introductions, you can reach your contacts in the way that suits them best while maintaining professionalism. #WhatsAppEtiquette #ProfessionalMessaging #BusinessWhatsApp #CorporateChat #WhatsAppBestPractices #BusinessComms #WhatsAppProtocol #ProfessionalConnect #DigitalProfessionalism #EffectiveMessaging #WorkplaceWhatsApp #BusinessCommunication #WhatsAppNetworking #ProfessionalConversations #BusinessMessagingTips #WhatsAppInBusiness #DigitalWorkplace #CorporateMessaging #WhatsAppCourtesy #BusinessChatProtocol
