This is the most tech-startup thing I've said in a long time but: I love the phrase "Ship it." Especially when it comes to working with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) team at Common Room. So many customers (and prospects!) across GTM teams, literally all of GTM's functions - from marketing, ops, and sales to community and success - have asked for a way to pull in comments, reactions, and, most importantly, the people behind them, into their Common Room so they can more deeply understand what's happening across their channels, by who, and when, and approach conversations with more context, more insight, and more solutions specific to their customers' problems. Excited to spread the word about our new Chrome extension for LinkedIn. Customers asked, our EPD team built, and we all got to say "Ship it" this morning. Questions? Feedback? Compliments? Let me know in the comments and we can pull this right into Common Room ;) 🚢

Finding leads can be really tricky sometimes. 😌 Where do we start? On LinkedIn? Well, yes. But what about other places to find leads? Take job listings, for example. Let’s go over it step-by-step: 1️⃣ Go to a job search website & find roles that match your ICP and Buyer Persona 2️⃣ Search for the company on LinkedIn 3️⃣ Go through the People section and find decision-makers 4️⃣ Put their names and a piece of customized information in a personalization document or a CSV file that will serve as a connection point for outreach later on. This information could be that you noticed that they are looking for a particular role and that you have a solution that can solve a crucial pain point for that role. You will use this for outreach later. But how? And where should you look next? 🤓 We’ve been wondering the same thing, so our sales and marketing teams came together to think of 30 smart and unexpected places where you can find leads and gather useful information you can later put in a personalization document. Once you’ve got it, you’ll put it to good use and: 💪 improve personalization and get more conversions 💪 use the information to begin your outreach and get outstanding results Want to see the other 29 places? Hey everyone, Jason here with another LinkedIn tip! Today, we're diving into Sales Navigator, a powerful tool for prospecting and lead generation. But is it the right fit for you? Let's explore the pros and cons: Pros of Sales Navigator: 🟢Laser-Focused Prospecting: Say goodbye to generic searches! Sales Navigator's advanced filters let you pinpoint your ideal customer profile by industry, title, company size, and more. This ensures you're reaching out to the most relevant decision-makers. 🟢InMail Power: The free LinkedIn version limits messaging to connections. Sales Navigator unlocks InMail, allowing you to directly message anyone on the platform - a game-changer for lead outreach. 🟢Lead Intelligence: Get valuable insights on your prospects, like recent job changes and company news. This allows you to personalize your approach and engage in more meaningful conversations. 🟢CRM Integration: Streamline your workflow by connecting Sales Navigator to your CRM. This keeps all your prospect data and interactions in one central location. Cons of Sales Navigator: 🔴Cost Factor: Sales Navigator has a monthly subscription fee, which can be a significant investment, especially for smaller businesses or individual salespeople. 🔴Information Overload: With so many filters and data points, it's easy to get bogged down in information overload. Focus on your ideal client profile and avoid getting lost in the weeds. 🔴Not a Magic Wand: Sales Navigator won't close deals on its own. It's a tool to help you find and connect with potential clients, but your sales skills and approach are still crucial. So, is Sales Navigator right for you? If you're a B2B salesperson constantly prospecting for new leads, Sales Navigator can be a valuable time-saver. However, if you have a smaller target market or budget constraints, consider maximizing the free features of LinkedIn first. Remember: The best tool is the one you use effectively. Helping you close 3+ high ticket B2B retainer deals in 120 days or you don’t pay | Founder at GrowthPal
This Trigger Cheat Sheet Helps You Personalise your Outreach on LinkedIn With LinkedIn’s current weekly Connection Request (CR) Limits, the amount of prospecting volume you can send over the LinkedIn Inbox is as low as ever. 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬: ∼ 100 Connection Requests / week over desktop ∼ 50-100 Connection Requests / week over mobile Assuming that we were maxing out our weekly Connection Request Limits with a 20% acceptance rate on average, we could only initiate up to 160 conversations per month. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲: The volume game isn't working anymore when doing LinkedIn Outreach. Spray and pray approaches are a waste of connection requests.. If we still want to book a significant number of opportunities using LinkedIn DMs, we need to drastically change our approach. Since we can't rely on volume anymore, we need to use another lever instead: → The Quality of our Outreach. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐲: 1️⃣ Connecting with the right people who demonstrate intent (through trigger events) 2️⃣ Acceptance Rate 3️⃣ Reply Rate Me and my team decided to pivot our outbound strategy on LinkedIn and start using trigger events to improve connection- and reply rates. After a small brainstorm session, these are the trigger events we came up with, as outlined in our LinkedIn Trigger Finder Cheatsheet below ⤵️ --- All of these triggers are openly visible on the LinkedIn platform and can be used to initiate a conversation that is both timely and relevant. I think decision makers have had enough of generic copy paste messages, all saying the same thing… LinkedIn had a fairly obvious reason behind its new policies: → to protect users from being spammed by generic chatter! ✖️ No more wasting of weekly connection requests on people who don't need our help! ✖️ No more contacting of prospects solely based on job titles ✖️ No more generic, copy-paste scripts with the only personalization being {first_name} and {company_name} 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝: ✔️ Let’s adapt and start doing our homework! ✔️ Let's start looking for triggers that show clear intent, contacting the right people, at the right time, using the appropriate amount of personalisation needed to earn the reply! --- P.S. - I've worked all weekend on a resource outlining our new trigger-based prospecting system and will share it with you this week! 🔌🛜 Preventing Big Telecom from lying to IT leaders | Text Me: 727 637 2778 | Follow to find out what the heck Clay.com actually does
Why Clay is blowing up on Linkedin right now: it's quite simple. it solves some of the biggest issues in GTM right now • Difficulty researching prospects at scale. Most prospecting tools don't pull out the kind of data points that help anyone but people selling to other saas companies. Orgs like mine that sell to legacy industries are underserved. Clay allows you to create a bespoke research dashboard. • Poor data quality from being tied to one provider - burning up SDRs time and effort on bounced emails and bad numbers. Waterfalling through Clay or FullEnrich will become the norm. Anyone who doesn't adjust to this will get left behind. • Automation of highly personalized emails. The bar for what someone will or won't respond to is becoming incredibly high. I've heard of guys back in 2012 just doing a mail merge column and personalizing with first names to get high response rates. That just doesn't cut it. You have to have a reason for reaching out and specific information that is ONLY relevant to your prospect. I'd like to add that there's lots of services out there that claim to do this and 99% of them are terrible. It's because it's impossible to get a good personalized AI email out of the box. it requires you to actually do some setup and know what data points you want to personalize. Trust me - I've tried a lot of them. A lot of the ones you know. 99% of AI personalization is terrible. Absolutely God awful. It just is. It's half operator error and half products that have creators that have never sold anything who don't understand what actually needs to be personalized. On top of that, the biggest reasons SDRs and AEs dont't like picking up the phone is because they don't know how they're relevant to the person on the other end, and this causes the downstream effect of lack of confidence. If you KNEW why you were calling and KNEW you could help them out, wouldn't you pick up the phone and dial? It's one of the things I think Clay is best at that I don't see a lot of people talking about - pre-outreach-research. Pick some data points. Growth. New hires. Linkedin Posts. Whatever it is. You can now draw on all that information and push it to salesforce or whatever CRM to use on a cold call. Being better armed to explain the value and search for pain makes a world of difference. It's one of the first things I do with new accounts. Research the number of locations they have in Clay. Currently working on a way using Google maps API to automate this. P.S. if you're interested in trying it out - here's a link that will give you 3k free credits when you sign up - https://lnkd.in/e8qZkR-k #sales #clay #outbound

Turn your LinkedIn searches and LinkedIn Sales Navigator into email lists in a few clicks! So we are all used to Linkedin Automations right? We all use tools like Waalaxy Lusha Dripify Lead Conversations And etc.. to automate the whole process. But here's the thing a lot of prospects aren't really active on LinkedIn and 7 out of 10 read their emails on a daily bases while 4 out of 10 will read their LinkedIn DMs. So Anyemailfinder made it possible to scare prospects emails from their LinkedIn profiles with their "LinkedIn Email Finder Chrome Extension." Follow these 4 simple steps immediately: Step 1: Individual Email Extraction Once you've found a LinkedIn profile of interest, open it. The extension will appear as a convenient button, labeled "Get Email." Click on it, and it will automatically extract the email address associated with that profile. ACTION STEP Open the LinkedIn profile of your prospect Click on the "Get Email" button Save the extracted email address for your outreach. Step 2: CSV Export The extension also turns any LinkedIn search into a CSV/Excel file. This file will contain information about your leads, their email addresses included. It's a great way to organize your contact list for follow-ups and outreach. Step 3: LinkedIn Compatibility Whether you're using Sales Navigator or the standard LinkedIn platform, their extension seamlessly integrates with both. This ensures you can access valuable contact information across a wide range of LinkedIn pages.
