How are you thinking about the operating model which is going to enable and drive ROI on your customer data platform investment? This is something I came across in the Matillion Data Builder Series. One thing we should clarify up front is that they are not a CDP business but they can connect data sources to your CDP, which means that their perspective can be viewed as somewhat objective. The most interesting piece is around a centralised versus federated approach to managing a CDP ⏩ Centralised - one team to rule them all ⏩ Federated - every team, responsible, at once Technology aside the message is around the importance of thinking about, if you need a CDP then how will this be managed within your business. Any model you employ will have benefits and risks, you need to balance these effectively with the overall posture of your business.
