Walkshop with Dr. Dan Miller - July 9 Benjamin Harrison is the founding spirit of the Columbia Club. The core of Harrison's role in establishing the Columbia Club stands on his experience in the Civil War. And the core of that experience begins with the raising of his hand.

Empowering the Next Generation: The Columbian Community Impact Program In early 2017, a group of visionary Columbians envisioned a leadership seminar tailored for our young members. This vision came to fruition with the launch of the inaugural Columbian Community Impact program in the summer of 2017. The initiative was designed to introduce leadership principles to our Harrison Society members, aiming to equip all participating Columbians with the skills to apply leadership basics in their personal and professional lives. The program's first cohort completed their nine-month training course and received their commencement certificates on May 8, 2018. The Club has celebrated the success of the program over the past six years. Each class has gained valuable insights and knowledge from dedicated volunteer Columbians, who generously invested their time to nurture and enhance the talents of our future leaders. Many of these graduates have since volunteered their services to community organizations and internal Columbia Club committees. Indianapolis boasts a proud history of community leadership, and our goal is to guide young Columbian members in identifying their passions while growing the pipeline of civic talent within our membership. This leadership series mentors participants on civic involvement, helping them begin to define their legacy. Columbians are eager to share their knowledge because, with the right tools, everyone can make a difference! Join us in continuing this tradition of excellence and community impact. Together, we can foster the leaders of tomorrow and make a lasting difference. The Club is accepting CCI Class VII program applications through the end of July.
