Colorado Rural Electric Assn.’s Post

Since April 7, 42 utility companies and over 250 electric #lineworkers from 16 states have worked tirelessly to bring light to residents living on the Navajo Nation. Last week, the lights turned on for the very first time for seven families. An initiative of the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority - NTUA in coordination with the American Public Power Association (APPA), Light Up Navajo V is a #philanthropic electrification project that is dedicated to bringing #electricity to families living on the Navajo Nation. Crews and residents celebrated the completion of the recently #powered homes with much gratitude and a celebratory dinner. Thank you to all who contributed to this effort.
