🌟 Day 6: Understanding Confirmation Bias 😎 Let's talk about Confirmation bias today. As designers, we need to know that people often look for information or love the designs that matches with what they already know or think. Here's what to remember: 1. Stay Balanced: Try to show information in a fair way, not just what people already believe. 😇 2. Know Biases: Understand common biases like trusting what's easy to remember. Design to help users see beyond these biases. 😍 3. Encourage behaviors that are good for users: Make designs that make users read, think and question what they know. This helps them make better decision. 🤗 The best example for understanding this is at Growth.Design. Check out their case study on Facebook misinformation here: https://lnkd.in/djRUWVWe Keep up the good work! 🌺 🚀 #UXDesign #UserExperience #BiasAwareness #UserFriendly #EasyDesignTips #UserExperience #DesignRule #UXDesign #SimplifyAndServe #ux #uxdesign #userexperience #usability #ixd #interactiondesign #HCI #Humancomputerintraction #design

🎨 Day 3: Minimize user’s memory load Remember, our brains aren't built like computers. Here's how to make things easier for users: 1. Keep Things Familiar: Stick to consistent navigation so users don't have to remember where they've been. 2. Use Visual Clues: Icons and colors can do a lot of the heavy lifting. No need for users to strain their memory! 3. Clear and Short Labels: Make sure everything is crystal clear. Less thinking, more doing! 4. Help When Needed: Give users right hints when they need them. It's like having a guide along the way. 🚀 #UserFriendly #EasyDesignTips #UserExperience #DesignRule #UXDesign #SimplifyAndServe #ux #uxdesign #userexperience #usability #ixd #interactiondesign #HCI #Humancomputerintraction #design

The Mental Model plays a pivotal role in the UX process, yet it often becomes unnecessarily complex due to the methods that may be impractical due to budget constraints or the unavailability of accurate data. This complexity can result in an error-prone process, emphasizing the need for optimization to achieve a more streamlined and effective approach. One of the most straightforward solutions understanding the user's beliefs and its impact on user's expectations. By focusing on these two components, a genuine mental model for any user archetype can be constructed with minimal effort, leading to a maximally viable solution. #uxdesign #mentalmodels #userexperience #optimization #userresearch #designthinking #usability #simplifyux

High-fidelity UX mockups are fantastic - but they come with a dark side. The more time you invest perfecting them, the more attached your team gets - and the harder it is to change course. Save yourself the trouble. Test your core ideas first using low-fidelity storyboards that show your customer using your product over time. You'll learn 10x faster once you see your end-to-end concept in front of real users. Watch the full video at: https://lnkd.in/gPfwsJhY #mockups #productdesign #prototype
