As we recognize World Refugee Day, I wanted to share “One Good Reason.” It’s a powerful story of how one family connected with another seeking refuge from war in their homeland and brought them to safety. This story is timeless, and I guarantee it will move you. Watch here:  https://lnkd.in/g8NUsKsE  Two years ago, ServiceNow partnered with Welcome.US  and Goldman Sachs  to power Welcome Connect, an app that connects refugees with US host families. In association with Tribeca Studios, we featured one example of what’s possible when empathy, human ingenuity, and an intelligent technology platform come together in “One Good Reason.” I’m pleased to announce that “One Good Reason” received the Best Short Film and Social Impact awards at Tribeca X last week. We’re proud the film continues to inspire others as an extension of our purpose to make the world work better for everyone. Thank you and congratulations to those who helped make this happen, especially: Nazanin Ash, Bill McDermott, Jim Lesser, Vanessa Smith, and the film’s directors: Perri Peltz and Matthew O'Neill.

Was honored to attend the debut of ServiceNow’s film: "Alt Shift Life" during a special Tribeca Film Festival event last night–and walked away truly moved. In partnership with Tribeca studios, Academy award nominated film director Laura Checkoway captured the stories of three truly incredible–and very unique–individuals from our RiseUp program, each of whom overcame major life obstacles by finding opportunity on the ServiceNow platform. DeVonn, Sai, and Scott made us laugh, cry, and inspired us to be part of a movement. Their stories only further our belief that diversity is not just a moral imperative but a driver of creativity, growth, and innovation.
