It was fantastic to have the opportunity to present a morning keynote at last week's UK & Ireland SAP User Group S/4HANA Symposium in London, and I just wanted to share some of the highlights of the event and the insightful discussions we had with attendees and participants. On behalf of Rapid X, I had the honour of co-presenting with Croda's CIO, Lale Kof, on our successful partnership in their #S4HANA journey. We discussed the value of independent expert advice and assurance, in helping to address the blind spots on the transformation journey, and how Croda has put people at the centre of their strategy, focusing on value, outcomes, and cultural alignment.
We then heard from Gavin Richardson, who led a breakout session that reinforced our core belief: the success of digital transformation is fundamentally about people. It's not just about technology; it's about empowering every team member to excel in a digitally transformed environment.
The Symposium was a great opportunity to connect with peers, customers, and experts, and to exchange insights and best practices on SAP-centric transformation. As we continue to innovate and support transformations across various industries, our discussions at this event have only strengthened our beliefs:
+ Focus on Outcomes
+ Own and drive the journey – this is YOUR transformation
+ Spend time on setting the right strategy up-front
+ Empower your transformation team – give them the knowledge and confidence to challenge suppliers and engage your business
+ Identify the Value – and then measure and govern it throughout
+ Build a tailored and authentic transformation journey that yields the best odds of success for YOUR organisation
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the event; to Julie Weir, Priscilla Chu, Grosh Singh for organising and involving us, and for support on the day. And a special thanks to Jessica Barker and the Rapid X team for their hard work and dedication to making our involvement a success. You made us proud!
