TERPS > THC I rather have a high % in terps than THC. Or better yet a balance of all 3 - THC -CBD - TERPS 🌱 Read my post about the entourage effect - To many in the industry these last 4 years are using THC as a stick to measure a top quad flower - so many companies do not even list the terpene %s 🤯…. If you grow medical cannabis - and do not have a focus on terpenes over all, do not label the % of terpenes on all products- list the dominant ones - so people can look them up and LEARN. You’re prioritizing the wrong things IMO. This is a NEW INDUSTRY-the experienced cultivators have a responsibility to teach and educate the medical patients of all the terpene health benifits-there is SO many and new ones are still beibg discovered. If everyone involved was growing medical cannabis with a focus on high terpenes - you would have more patients. Sell more- retain more patients and so on IMO. great post thank you 🙏

The Marvels of Myrcene: A Deep Dive into Cannabis' Most Common Terpene Myrcene, known scientifically as β-myrcene, is a powerhouse among cannabis terpenes, widely appreciated for its distinctly earthy, musky aroma reminiscent of cloves. It is also marked by subtle hints of fruity notes, often compared to ripe mangoes. This terpene is not only the most prevalent terpene in many cannabis strains but also one of the most intriguing due to its unique properties and effects. The Unique Characteristics of Myrcene Myrcene is chiefly recognized for its sedative qualities, making it a favorite among those seeking relaxation or aid in sleep. It is also reputed to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, which could explain why strains high in myrcene are popular among medicinal users for pain relief and to reduce swelling. Another fascinating aspect of myrcene is its potential to enhance the effects of THC, the primary psychoactive component of cannabis. By increasing the absorption of cell membranes, myrcene allows THC to reach brain cells more quickly, intensifying its effects. This synergy not only makes myrcene a crucial terpene in the pharmacological realm but also enhances the overall cannabis experience. Famous Cannabis Strains High in Myrcene Several renowned strains are known for their high myrcene content, each offering unique flavors and effects that cater to diverse preferences: Blue Dream OG Kush Granddaddy Purple Mango Kush White Widow Harlequin Northern Lights Skunk #1 Himalayan Gold 9 Pound Hammer In conclusion, myrcene demonstrates the complex interplay between cannabis compounds and their effects on the human body. Its presence in numerous high-profile strains underscores its importance and widespread appeal in the cannabis community. As research continues to unfold, the story of myrcene will likely expand, revealing even more about this fascinating terpene's role in nature and medicine. #CannabisScience #MedicalCannabis #CannabisResearch #CannabinoidScience #CannabisIndustry
