During the past year, Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment have introduced on-highway electric trucks and electric processing equipment to public and private #waste and #recycling companies across North America. While the volumes are still small, they mark the start of a monumental shift in the industry—one that has been achieved through close collaboration among original equipment manufacturers, battery makers, charging partners and end customers to determine the best paths forward.
