Tractor Supply Company has eliminated its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives as part of what the retail chain says is a push to distance itself from “nonbusiness activities” after conservative backlash from some of its customer base. In a news release, Tractor Supply, which advertises itself as the country’s “largest rural lifestyle retailer,” said it will stop sponsoring activities like “pride festivals and voting campaigns” and would be cutting DEI roles and “retire (its) current DEI goals while still ensuring a respectful environment.” “We have heard from customers that we have disappointed them,” the company said. “We have taken this feedback to heart.” The about-face comes less than a month after right-wing commentator Robby Starbuck attacked the company’s LGBTQ-inclusive stance and DEI hiring initiatives in a series of posts on X. Starbuck, who in 2022 launched a failed bid for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District, called on customers to boycott Tractor Supply and contact its corporate leadership. Just as hate focused customers can flex their so called influence over Tractor Supply - so can the rest of us - consumer brands that don’t have the gonads to stand up to far right anti inclusive customers should never go down the path of adding DEI initiatives- because by adding then taking away - is actually making it worse for all involved! Stand up and resist the anti-LGBTQIA+ hatred from conservatives who are determined to take away our rights!!

I keep on hearing about Joe Biden / Trump age and the ability of Joe Biden to do his duties as president, a large number of democrats and republicans want Joe Biden to step down , from the 2024 presidency race , my personal thoughts are he has displayed that he’s capable to govern, my problem is , we all watched on national tv , Mitch McConnell , having what looks like Stroke and I didn’t hear one democrat or republican demand he step down , it was about three episodes on live tv , why didn’t anyone question his ability to govern, due to his sickness which playing out on live Tv , but Biden was not sick or displaying a stroke , you are funny , but I got it ok ! A person speech is causing all this confict ? Do us all a favor and be kind , one day you will become old , and it will hurt your parents if they are older and you’re saying about their ability to speak ! Mitch was Sick , not Biden , the news cycles never asked him to retire or step down ! It’s not president Biden you’re after , it’s the name on the ticket you fear will become president! good choice, more businesses should follow along DEI is not good for business it is designed for special interests only (affirmative action) hiring someone that may not be qualified, but only checks a special group identity is never good for the success of any business

DEI has no place in business, government, or any profession. JUST HIRE THE BEST QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL! But if they want to hire these individuals for Walter Reed Medical Center… Let’s see how that works out for them. Require all federal elected officials to get the medical needs addressed there with these DEI hires.
