It's been an eventful week for the US Ringover team. I had the pleasure of attending the TechServe Alliance Executive Summit in Amelia Island, Florida, while the rest of our US team participated in the Salesforce World Tour in Atlanta. At both conventions, artificial intelligence (AI) was the term on everyone’s lips, sparking discussions about its practical benefits and return on investment (ROI). The consensus? AI can indeed be a game-changer when the right tool is chosen and utilized effectively, often recouping its cost within the first few months. Ringover's robust AI tool, Empower, is designed to boost sales by up to 25%. It delves into call data with prospects, emphasizing key conversational elements, speech patterns, and emotional tones. We got over 400+ sign-ups for our latest AI event at IntelliGen. So how did we do this? Partnerships with LARGER communities. 👥 For IntelliGen, we partnered with EntreConnect, which is also in AI. 🔑 Key tip: It is important to make sure on whatever event management platform you use, that you are added to the email list as a co-host. Then, you have access to the list of attendees, which can be used to grow your community. Xiaoxiao(Annie) Qin was a rockstar for making this event happen. This goes to show that having key partnerships with influential communities can grow your community exponentially.

Just returned from #ComNet23 in Atlanta with The Communications Network, and here are my top takeaways: 1) Generative AI search is about to rock our worlds, in terms of how our organizations get found on the internet. We need to review our discoverable content and ensure we’re accounting for the new world of AI. 2) For those of us who work on equity issues, asset framing is an essential lens (as opposed to deficit framing.) When we exclusively focus on deficits in the populations we serve, we’re not being effective or persuasive. “Define people by their assets and aspirations before noting challenges and deficits.” - Trabian Shorters 3) The limitations of pandemic comms got some of us all a little too focused on social media. 🫠 DMs are still a powerful way to reach some key stakeholders, but in general, social rarely nurtures relationships, which is what really delivers wins. Competition brings out the best in you. 🚀 What a weekend it has been! I had the exhilarating opportunity to dive deep into the realms of SpaceTech and Generative AI at the AI X SpaceTech hackathon. From dissecting algorithms and crunching data to bridging the gap between two distinct yet interconnected realms of satellite imagery, the challenges were as intriguing as they were complex. But as they say, competition truly brings out the best in you! A huge shoutout to my incredible partner and curious comrade, Shashank Patil, who brought not just his expertise but also his relentless bias for action to the table. Together, we navigated through the highs and lows of adversarial training, with a sprinkle of late-night Google Colab mishaps thrown in the mix. Despite the challenges, we persevered and emerged as the runner up of the event! Massive thanks to the organizers Entrepreneur First, Speciale Invest, and GalaxEye for bringing together such an inspiring platform for tech enthusiasts like us to thrive and innovate! I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside some of the brightest young minds in the scene. This experience has reaffirmed my belief in the power of collaboration, curiosity, and of course, competition.
