After reviewing programming from at least four cities and straining to see any BIPOC talent presenting I have to wonder why anyone would agree to speak for them and why anyone would attend their conferences. There is no point in token celebrations of International Women's Day if you don't believe in celebrating ALL WOMEN. And there is no point in stating you believe in #equity #diversity #inclusion and #belonging if it only benefits those already in positions of power or #whiteprivilege. With all respect to the current talent presenting why are you attaching your reputations to an organization that does not equally value all humans? My children are entitled to grow up in a world where they are reflected in leadership. #representationmatters
