🔍 How many and what errors can you find in this communication?
🚍 This morning I came across this advertisement and it caught my attention. I thought how well positioning the bus is for a political party that promises to be committed to ecological issues. The choice of the vehicle and the back of the bus also ensures great visibility and spreads the message throughout the city.
❌️ I then noticed the incorrectly sized and cut image, which was not evocative of the message 'Insieme per l'Europa che vogliamo' (tr. 'Together for the Europe we want'): the concept of 'Together' is represented by a face and a handshake cut in half.
❌️ Furthermore, the call to action 'Vota PD' (tr. 'Vote PD') is placed above the warning sign 'Blind spot take care', a context that significantly decreases its effectiveness.
This post is not meant for political purposes, rather, it wants to highlight the importance of attention to details in marketing, from the choice of an image, to its size and the placement of a call to action. All elements that make the difference between an effective campaign... and an epic fail.
