The Eras tour is still going strong in Europe. This is from her Amsterdam show yesterday. Much has been written on the economic impact Taylor Swift has on the places she tours but what’s not emphasized is the profound connection and empathy with her fans. It should be a Harvard case study on fanaticism and personal branding. Having had the privelidge of seeing her both state side (LA) and abroad, I can tell you her fans are universally ecstatic to see her perform whether they are 10 years old or 50. And that is the secret sauce. So many times in consumer goods we are asked who is your product for? We are asked to pick an age range and demographic. But what if we want to be like Taylor? UNiTE is for all but it is the byproduct of fostering a deep connection with our consumers - that’s what product market fit means to me.

You have to see it to believe it. Here in Borough Market in London this very simple cup of strawberries covered in chocolate has a a mile long line and sells for £8 Worth the hype? That’s debatable but what isn’t is the push a viral social media moment can give your business. Sometime the most simple is the most delicious and profitable. Tik Tok made me do it.
