With the annual appropriations process underway, it is essential to urge Congress to PROTECT and INCREASE funding for Meals on Wheels programs like Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud nationwide. Simply maintaining current funding levels isn't an acceptable outcome, and in fact, would represent a funding cut at a time when we have seen our service numbers and food costs increase.
Our aging neighbors and loved ones are depending on us to speak out and demand action.
Read our latest blog and then commit to speaking up, reaching out, and making a difference.

A bit of a preview of the kinds of resources that we will be featuring in this year’s Food Solutions New England 21 Day Equity Challenge. We are so appreciative of our friends and partners at The Wallace Center and the Food Systems Leadership Network for their steadfast commitment to supporting community food systems. …
“Community-based food systems are what works. Though they are neither a new nor a novel approach to how we can produce and consume #food, they are what is needed. They provide nourishment in a way that is lost on the globalized system; by building connections, strengthening #community power, and stewarding resilient ecological systems. Community-based #foodsystems are dynamic, agile, and complex. Their value is measured not only by dollars and cents but through #relationships, connectedness, and community #wellbeing.”
Join the thousands of people and nearly 500 organizations and networks that have already registered to participate this year (free and open to all) - https://lnkd.in/eJJDcQ4https://lnkd.in/ehiMRqR5

Thank you for caring about water and sanitation for all. For caring enough about women and girls walking hours each day for water, that you put your concern into action.
