Two themes in this article about Citadel Securities by Sarah Butcher are becoming universally true in finance, and all aspiring traders must be aware of the ramifications as they prepare for a career in the markets: 1. In the past, a trader was typically surrounded by a large number of support staff that existed to collect, analyze, aggregate and interpret information for them as the ultimate decision maker. This is no longer the case. There is an expectation that the trader be able to handle an ever-increasing volume & complexity of informational inputs and to do so with tools and techniques of their own construction. Which directly relates to the second theme. 2. Traders have to be vastly more technologically informed and have significantly greater analytical and coding capabilities. This is true even in circumstances where the trader can still leverage insititutional support, as they must still be cognizant of and familiar with the techniques employed to operate on massive data sets or non-traditional data.

I woke up this morning to this FX report! Not bad considering I just followed what our algorithm told me to do yesterday. Our algo provided me with the Entry and Exit levels. He expressed concern that if he subscribed to our service, he might not be able to trade all of our signals, since they come in at all hours and he needed his 'beauty sleep'. In case others have the same issue, I thought I'd offer a response. First, our algorithm is not a BOT nor was it ever intended to be one. It's a tool for FX traders. It points to optimal trades throughout a 24 hour day and delivers them globally with all the information need to place an optimal and risk managed trade. We encourage our subscribers to trade our signals when they are ready to trade FX not just when a signal comes in. If a signal alert arrives in the middle of the night and you're asleep, so be it. They'll be another bunch of fresh signals coming soon after. Our pipeline of signal alerts holds between 20-40 signals per week. A trader can do very well by trading just a few of our signals per week. My report below is a typical example. I picked the two signals below because I had time to look at them. Some days I don't even trade. I might be busy on a project or had had an awesome run like these past two days. One thing for sure, I certainly do NOT try to trade all of our signals every week. Blockchain technology is coming to disturb the financial system, we are going to see a whole new world of opportunities for investors and companies. I believe especially in private equity. Fund raising capital, public offerings, and liquidity for medium size companies will be impacted which will benefitated retail investors and business owners. All of these opportunities will arise due to the tokenizations of assets and smart contracts technology which has the ability to make markets more efficient and assets more liquid. The listing of the Bitcoin ETF ́s is just the beginning of the impact this technology will have in the financial world in the following 10 years.
