How important is someone’s reputation? Going into the fall most of us are starting another season of networking events. During these events I am always reminded of the importance of someone’s reputation. Whether or not to hire someone, refer anyone, or partner with an organization. For me it always comes down to reputations, both theirs and mine. I have always found that strategic partnerships based on ethical relationships pays off. What have you found? I had the opportunity to introduce Showtime Travel luxury travel services to some of the top sales professionals at the National Sales Network (Headquarters) conference in Dallas, TX. I am fortunate to have some clients at the conference who referred me to their colleagues. Networking is a powerful way to scale if you do it right. Here are my tips to meaningful networking. 1.
