Artificial intelligence has increasingly integrated into both our personal and professional spheres. These applications are invaluable in enhancing efficiency and conserving time. However, it is crucial to maintain a balance by continuing to incorporate human oversight to guarantee precision and uphold quality standards. While AI has not yet reached the capability to supplant skilled writers, it undoubtedly serves as a significant support tool for them.

AI can't solve your knowledge management woes, but knowledge management can solve your AI woes. It is generally unrealistic to expect AI to, for example, trawl through your millions of old documents and conduct qualitative assessments to create useful knowledge. It's also unrealistic to expect some sort of superdooper AI semantic search to suddenly help you find shiny needles in a ginormous haystack full of rusty needles. If done badly, it might actually have the opposite effect (i.e. even more hay and rusty needles) However, it is more realistic for a good curated set of knowledge to be able to steer the outputs of AI in the right direction. As with every other business process, AI can support parts of knowledge processes (e.g. making it quicker to share or label), but you cannot entirely delegate knowledge processes to AI.

I've just finished the course “Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy” by Anil Gupta and Haiyan Wang. My thoughts in simple terms, Artificial Intelligence is any computer system that can imitate, from a certain level of similarity, what human intelligence can do. Disturbing as it may be, AI is already changing how work gets done and is set to change the industry as we know it. AI has different types💡 (But most people don't know about it) ➡ 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗡𝗜) ⦿ANI systems are designed for specific tasks or particular problems. ⦿Examples include virtual assistants like Siri or Alexa. ⦿ANI systems cannot perform outside their designed tasks or transfer their skills to new areas. ⦿ChatGPT falls into this category as well. ➡ 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗚𝗜) ⦿AGI is a more advanced form of ANI (Artificial Narrow Intelligence). ⦿Unlike ANI's focus on specific tasks, AGI aims for human-like performance across various domains. ⦿This includes intellectual tasks like reasoning, learning, planning, and creativity. ⦿It's important to remember that AGI is still a theory, we have yet to create a machine with such capabilities. ➡ 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗦𝗜) ⦿It represents a hypothetical future where machines surpass human intelligence in every way. ⦿Machines smarter than all humans combined. ⦿This includes exceeding human social skills, scientific creativity, and general wisdom. ⦿We are still far from creating AI that can outsmart us all.

"Regulating Artificial Intelligence Systems: Risks, Challenges, Competencies, and Strategies" #intelligence https://lnkd.in/dNkgBHZS this paper will effectively punt on the definitional issue and “define” AI for the purposes of this paper in a blissfully circular fashion: “Artificial intelligence” refers to machines that are capable of performing tasks that, if performed by a human, would be said to require intelligence. For the sake of distinguishing between AI as a concept and AI as a tangible technology, this article will occasionally use the term “AI system” to refer to the latter. For AI based on modern digital computing, an AI system includes both hardware and software components. It thus may refer to a robot, a program running on a single computer, a program running on networked computers, or any other set of components that hosts an AI. AI systems may act unforeseeably in some sense, but the systems’ designers and operators may have actually intended the capability to produce unforeseen actions. learning AI’s designers will not be able to foresee how it will act after it is sent out into the world. Control, once lost, may be difficult to regain if the AI is designed with features that permit it to learn and adapt. a sophisticated AI system could improve its own hardware and programming to the point that it gains cognitive abilities far outstripping those of its human creators.... this article is highly recommended for those interested in AI and Law, don't lose it!!!

The debate around Artificial Intelligence has its first big battleground with the writers and actors strike in the USA. Writers and actors in the US are feeling the tightening grip of technology as they claim AI threatens to take away their livelihoods and creativity. This first significant confrontation might determine how this new tool can be used in the coming years, and how it could impact the future of work and its place in our society as we go forward. Will AI completely transform the way of working, or is it a convenient cost-cutting method that might lead to the downfall of inventive insights? Can this advancement replace human authentic intelligence or are we merely resisting the inevitable progression of technology that could take us to even further heights? Read more about the future of work and how AI could impact it in the ftrprf change book at https://change.ftrprf.com/

Title: Navigating the World of AI Tools: A User’s Perspective In my recent exploration of 12 different websites, I discovered that only 3 truly deliver on their promises and adhere to their advertised features. However, even with Python-based solutions, there were occasional inaccuracies and glitches. Retrieving accurate data points often required hours of effort. Here are some key takeaways: Choose Wisely: When considering a purchase, exercise discernment. Some platforms offer free trials but require credit card information upfront. Beware that even if you toggle the option to “do not purchase,” charges may still apply once the trial concludes. AI Imperfections: Artificial intelligence, while powerful, is not flawless. It’s essential to recognize that humans program AI systems, and errors can occur. Without human oversight, false information might be presented. The goal should be AI assistance, not blind reliance. Remember, AI is a tool—a valuable one—but not the ultimate solution.

How Artificial Intelligence can deliver real value to companies? What is Artificial Intelligence? Today we talk a lot about artificial intelligence and how it will change our future. But we don’t know what it actually means. Let us see what is artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence was coined in the 1950s as a task which is performed by a machine with the intelligence a human can use to complete the task. In layman language, it acts a situation in the same manner in which a human would act. If the human can answer to a question in a conversation, so would AI can. It analyses the information and makes future decisions, in the same way in which a human would. read more:https://lnkd.in/dK5w7cjp
