CEO of SAP SE

Yesterday, we inaugurated a fantastic new building: In a first-of-its-kind setup, SAP developers now work side by side in the same place with professors, researchers, and students of the Technical University of Munich. This tightly integrated ecosystem between global leaders, university researchers, start-ups, and customers is a great model for the future of innovation in Europe, Germany, and beyond. I believe we need many more collaborations of this kind to innovate fast and at scale. A big #ThankYou to all those who dreamed big and made this possible!

Thank you, Christian for speaking at the opening ceremony of our new state-of-the-art building and also taking the time for a special session for our employees. It is truly inspiring how SAP and Technische Universität München will collaborate on creating innovations for the future together with the vast ecosystem in Munich. Congratulations Christian ! It is so important for all of us to both push education in general and partnerships with our top universities. Where else should the drive and ability for innovation come from ? Especially in times of tech shifts like AI. We need more of this !

Great and important corporate-academic collaboration! And fully agree that „we need many more collaborations of this kind to innovate“, Christian! 📈🎓🚀 For this, we have amongst others, the TU9 in Germany, the leading German Universities of Technology! Well distributed in the entire country, like the SAP clients and performance! Next one for your engagement may be my fantastic Alma Mater RWTH Aachen University with also outstanding research and education on IT, AI, and Technology Management! Always happy to supprt you or your Team on how and where to channel the next important investments, or, e.g., a next SAP Stiftungslehrstuhl! Keep it up! 📈🎓🚀

Innovation is not the product of logical thought, although the result is tied to logical structure 🧠 Disagreement is part of progress. New building great, but face-to-face isn't only way to innovate. Virtual collaborations simultaneously in different parts of the world possible. Why limit innovation to physical proximity? #GlobalCollaboration
