I am honored and blessed to have been a keynote speaker at the 3rd Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) Centre of Excellence (CoE) Annual Conference in Chania, Crete, Greece. It was an amazing venue and a chance to talk about the first of its kind Integrated Fires capability underpinned by the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) being developed in PEO Missiles and Space. I continue to be humbled at the places this great Army takes me and the incredible opportunities it provides. I am profoundly grateful to God for my journey and for the chance to share my experiences and insights with such a distinguished audience. I take immense pride in being part of the amazing Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) and PEO Missiles and Space team. I am inspired everyday by the people and the shared vision of providing the best air and missile defense capabilities in the world to our Warfighters and International partners. #LeadersLead #IBCS

The Liter of Light Project This project was launched to tackle the rising cost of electricity in the Philippines, aiming to illuminate 1 million homes. This innovative approach uses plastic bottles to provide indoor lighting from daylight, an idea originally developed by Brazilian mechanic Alfredo Moser. In 2011, the Liter of Light movement began, inspired by Moser’s simple yet effective invention. By mixing bleach with water in an empty bottle and placing it in a hole in the roof, Moser discovered he could illuminate his house during the day, creating the equivalent of a 40-60 Watt lightbulb. Filipino organization MyShelter adopted this concept and transformed it into a global movement, teaching communities how to install these lights. This solution is invaluable for areas lacking reliable electricity, lighting homes at no cost during daylight hours across the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Argentina, and Fiji. Recognizing the need for night-time illumination, Litro de Luz developed a system to store solar energy. This system includes a solar panel, a battery, LED lamps inside a PET bottle, and a control circuit that activates the light as it gets dark. The Liter of Light project not only provides sustainable lighting but also empowers communities by teaching them to harness and utilize renewable energy. During a recent visit to Tokyo, I had the amazing opportunity to represent PEO Missiles and Space during an international engagement with the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo Japan Deputy Chief of Mission, Raymond Greene (on the left) to discuss the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) role in Japan's Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) strategy. On the right, I'm utilizing the Northrop Grumman IBCS Battle One Demo as a visual tool to facilitate a discussion with Japan Ministry of Defense, US Forces Japan, and US Army Japan IAMD leaders. It is truly a blessing to lead such a great team as the PM of Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) and operate at the forefront of IAMD Modernization. It’s not about me, but I’m still amazed at the opportunities the #Army provides for this kid from little Clanton, Alabama. Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) manages the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense program and is partnered with Northrop Grumman (NGC) to develop, procure, integrate, and field the Integrated Battle Command System. On 7 May 2024, we received the first DD250’d Engagement Operations Center (EOC). This is a historical achievement along the path of modernizing from PATRIOT to IBCS. #HoldTheRope
