What Dafuq ?

I had a conversation last week with a friend who is an expert in marketing on how to run a business in the current Vietnamese market. She states that KOL/KOL and Affiliate are the fastest and most efficient methods for a retail company with very young customers, such as Lixibox. Whoa, it's obvious that younger people have a lot more options when it comes to careers and orientations. A career as a KOC, KOL, or content creator might be developed as a side business or as a personal endeavor. Even today, some companies have a position called "Content Creator" whose job it is to develop the brands of people and companies. However, in a trending field, getting replaced or saturated rapidly is a major concern. How can jobs associated with this "trend" be preserved if another trend replaces them, in your opinion? I have often struggled to define my role as a founder of Boomerang. Questions like: -> Am I a founder or an AE or a sales leader? -> Am I an operator or founder? -> Am I hiring ICs or managers? There are also day-to-day questions like: -> Should we invest in more marketing or sales? Should we invest in branding? or is it too early? -> Should we solve one use case deeply or build the platform? -> Should we position the immediately solvable problem or present the long-term transformation to our customers and prospects? -> Should we have a revenue plan for 3 months 6 months or one year? After thinking about this over the last several months, my current answer is: #1 My primary job is to help Boomerang have multiple PMFs, great MOATs, and highly differentiated messaging #2 The clearer I am with #1, the easier it is for me to hire smart people to scale GTM and Product. #3 Be close to almost all customers.
