In a continued effort to promote health and well-being in the communities Children's Health serves, our Health Equity team recently visited Buckner Terrace Montessori for Medical Explorers Day. This fun and informative event gave physicians, nurses and health experts from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to interact one-on-one with elementary school students to get them excited about health and potential medical careers.

Skin-to-skin contact, or Kangaroo Care, benefits not only the baby, but the parent as well. Skin-to-skin helps with growing, bonding and coping for parents and their babies.
