I'm still looking for a job (ahem) and using this time to work on some solo projects that have been in my head far too long. Here's one of them: Crux Eternal. It's a simple number puzzle game you've probably seen before. I mostly wrote it because it's one of my favorite puzzles, and I decided to create something using Godot. And it's called "Eternal" because I sometimes feel like I've wanted to write it forever. 😀 This is more of a demo than a full game, so I'm releasing it as open source. I might take it and make something more of it later, assuming I have time. You can do a few things with Artifacts: 1. Find ready-to-use resources that are directly applicable to your work. 2. Gain valuable insights from experts who share the story, lessons, and nuances behind each artifact. 3. Save and collaborate on artifacts with my colleagues, accelerating our work together. 4. Customize and remix artifacts to suit my specific needs, saving time and effort. When we first came up with the idea I realized I was doing this every week. I had other founders and growth leaders constantly reaching out to me for example experiments, strategy docs, job descriptions, you name it. When I shared the real thing versus some blank template, I could see the light bulb go off in others' heads. Since we started working on Artifacts I’ve leveraged a bunch of Artifacts from others and integrated them into Reforge. I've dropped a few of my new favorites in the comments. Congrats to Daniel Wolchonok and Ali Riehle. This project has been their baby since its inception a year ago.

Why's my game unique? Cora's Legacy is a 2D side scroller, currently on itch.io. There is no AI generated art, no AI generated text. I work on it in my spare time, because it's a genuine thing I enjoy doing. Because of this, my game has many features that others don't, such as branching narratives, real consequences, hidden easter eggs and more. It's not just a 2D side scroller - it's a visually appealing story that the player makes their way through, but the narrative is entirely based on choice - don't want to be "bogged down" by story? Don't interact with statues! Cut down enemies and watch them burst into flames, to collect the spoils. Use currency earned to purchase player upgrades - increasing your damage or health and making you stronger. Replay old areas to find secrets!
