Content Strategist | Ghostwriter 4 Personal Brands, B2C SaaS & Fintech Startups | I explain what “put yourself out there” means in simple terms | Founder-The Personal Brand Accelerator Program|Content Lead, HabilaHQ
In my previous article, I shared one profound practical way to improve yourself in November. If you missed last week’s post, look for this subject line "2 Practical ways to improve on yourself in November" by searching my timeline (I’m not sure what it’s called on LinkedIn). Now to the next practical way to improve on yourself in November The first thing you want to do is to Identify in-demand skills & pursue them The job market is constantly evolving. If you’re not armed, you’ll be left out. People are acquiring skills that’s allowing them live their dream lives. You too can Here’s what you need to do: Make a google search of “The top most sought-after skills in the world” or your industry This google search will help you: ✅Know what employers are looking for ✅Set yourself apart from the crowd ✅Stay updated ✅Adapt easily to the changing job market ✅Position yourself as a valuable person ✅Redirect your time, effort & energy ✅Now that you know what skills are in demand, 1. Search for courses related to those skills - It’s time to learn 2. Practice those skills, put yourself in situations that will force you to practice what you’re learning. One example is Mentorship with Sue, my 3-month copywriting, social media marketing, and personal development mentorship program for newbies. The mentorship starts in january and I've opened up slots. There is limited slots available because I only want to work with 20 intentional people. You can book a slot now by joining the WAITLIST - https://lnkd.in/dhpgm5Py 3. Apply for jobs: Put your skills to test! You’ll either learn on the job or learn by losing the job. Either way, you lose nothing. I do this often. I made this exact search in 2020 and it led me to where I am today - A Content Strategist and Copywriter - working from the comfort of my home, earning as much as my skill set permits and making time to do the things that I love. You too can Enjoy November, again Your Content Bestie - Susan
