We were proud to see Charter Hall's first ever multi-level Industrial & Logistics development, Ascent on Bourke, featured in a report on the future of Australia’s multi-storey warehousing released by CBRE this week. Constrained land supply and growing demand from tenant customers for high-quality, well-located warehouse and logistics facilities with close proximity to consumers makes South Sydney an ideal location for multi-storey warehouses. For Ascent on Bourke, we identified the site at Alexandria because of its ‘last mile’ location in proximity to the densely populated CBD and eastern suburbs, as well as the airport, port and it being a key entry point to the entirety of Sydney’s arterial network. The location gives the development’s tenant customers, including Coles Group and Schindler Group, the ability to reach 54% of Sydney’s population within 30 minutes.
