🚨 Google I/O is today. This one feels particularly significant because there are rumours SGE will be launched. In my circles, this narrative has mainly come from Eli Schwartz. 🚦 He has said "A launch announcement doesn't necessarily mean that SGE goes live to 100% of logged-in and logged-out users globally. Given litigation concerns, Google may hold back SGE from many countries (the whole EU), account types (school/workplace), and even logged-in states." 😮 But, there is no doubt that, *when* it is launched it will impact brands and businesses in affected verticals. Not just against visibility and performance metrics but also in measurement and reporting. 💡 We have been talking to clients about SGE for over a year investigating (where possible) how it may impact them and how we can prepare. *sets reminder for 6pm* I hope they do announce some form of wider rollout for SGE, so that we can really see its impact in the wild. It's been great hearing excitement from clients about the changes ahead and what it will bring for them.
