Start by asking your parents, “Is there anything you’d like me to know about your health care wishes?” That can be a gentle way to test the waters and find out if your parents are ready or willing to share information with you. If not, respect their boundaries, make like Elsa, & let it go! Investing in it properly is the key. put it towards the front line to reduce wait times and get people the help they need when they need it.

Everyone has the right to manage their own health and freedom of choice for care. Health Insurance is meant to ensure your health not restore it. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A YMCA membership or the cost of sport fees may prevent the need for medication, counseling, or behavior therapy. A massage might reduce stress and prevent a mental health crisis. A chiropractor might prevent surgery. Insurance provides payment, treatment and qualifying providers is for the patient and their primary care provider to decide. Alternative medicine is primary medicine.

Absolutely agree with the WHO's stance on everyone's right to mental health care. While this is a universal truth, it's crucial to highlight that in regions like Africa, there are significant challenges. Mental health systems are still developing, with limited research, infrastructure, and resources. This is where the support of WHO and other global health organizations becomes critical. Together, we can work towards ensuring that mental health care is accessible and equitable for all, regardless of where they live. #MentalHealthForAll #WHO #GlobalHealthEquity #mentalhealth

Our health is impacted by so many things from education and nutrition to environmental conditions and inclusion. This year's #WorldHealthDay highlighted everyone's right to good health. All people should have access to the physical and mental health services they need when and where they need them, without facing financial hardship or discrimination.
