“The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.” (Psalms 19:9 NIV) I FEAR GOD and it is that serious. A lot of people walk around with the fear of God and it shows. I fear the day he hands me over to my flesh and say “here that’s what you wanted”. It’s a healthy fear that I know he is in me so why would I turn my back on him. Surround yourself with people who are holding themselves accountable to God because if they be accountable to God they can be accountable to you.

Matthew 25:21 (KJV) His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. We have to understand that God knew our capabilities, before placing talents or gifts in us; He knew the impact our gifts would do to his overall salvation plan for humanity. God in his wisdom does not create a useless being; everyone of us has a kingdom mandate embedded in us. We have refused to identify, utilise, act, and maximise whatever God gave us. Failure to use God's given talents is a serious issue. What reason can we give, if on the judgment day, we are shown the many people our laziness or inaction has led to hell? If we have a role to play and we fail to do so, do we expect a reward? Perhaps some are already in hell because of us, but we can redeem what is left. What are your gifts or talents? Think and pray about this. To be continued. May we be profitable to the kingdom. Have a blessed Friday. *Prayer:* Talk to God regarding your fears, challenges and plans. 18/08/2023

James 4:8 offers a beautiful and profound promise: as we draw near to God, He draws near to us. This verse captures the heart of a relationship with God, emphasizing both His accessibility and our responsibility in pursuing Him. Drawing near to God requires intentionality. It involves setting aside time for prayer, reading His Word, and seeking His presence in our daily lives. It's an invitation to deeper intimacy, where we open our hearts to Him and listen for His voice. God desires a close relationship with us and is always ready to meet us where we are. However, James also calls us to a life of holiness. "Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." This cleansing is both an external and internal act. It means turning away from sinful behaviors and purifying our hearts from divided loyalties. To be double-minded is to waver between following God and pursuing worldly desires. True intimacy with God requires a single-minded devotion, a wholehearted commitment to His will. Reflect on your relationship with God. Are there areas where you need to draw nearer to Him? Are there sins or divided loyalties that need addressing? Confess these to God, asking for His forgiveness and strength to live a life that honors Him. Embrace the promise that as you seek Him earnestly, He will draw near, enveloping you in His love and grace.

Exactly my thoughts!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." In life, it's too easy to let the worries of the world interfere with your peace and redirect your ways. You must learn to trust God and His plan. For, we cannot begin to fathom His ways or His thoughts. Trust in the Lord. www.servantsofthewaynp.com

I believe that greater emphasis should be placed on the leading of the spirit of God in our lives, rather than in the things we believe we know, can see, and understand. When we depend on our knowledge, senses and experience, we rob ourselves of knowing what it truly means to trust God “with all our heart.” And believe me, trusting God wholeheartedly and walking in His will is totally worth! His thoughts and ways are way higher than our own 🙌🏼 If you would like to Make Your Prayer Life Go WOW! Check out the following link: https://lnkd.in/gvHCgZHm 🙏🏼

I pray -- not without ceasing, but lots more than I used to. I also tell stories: Bible stories, lesson-learned stories, my own story, and most importantly, His Story -- God's big beautiful love story.
Good morning, Lord. You know my thoughts before I do (Psalm 139). Direct my thoughts, O God, so that I think more about You and less about myself. Teach me to fix my thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8). #GoodMorningLord #morningprayer #prayer #thoughts #psalm139 #philippians4

Time with the Lord, Daily Devotional, 12th November 2023, Anointed Joseph JAMES 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Insight Topic:Be Swift to hear, slow to Speak, Slow to wrath. These scripture teaches us about the importance of being silent, not every confrontation you should rise to, not every question you should endeavor to answer, think before you talk, and before you take any action, weigh the impending consequences to your actions. A great Man of God (pst E A Adeboye), once said , the less noisy you are the farther you will go in life and the greater you will be , the greatest thing in life are formed and grow in silence.(ISai 30:15) My admonition to us think before you act, approach matters with wisdom, don't be Quick to Burn bridges with people. And also be careful of the words you speak to people, speak positively to people, don't bring them down with your words. Ask God for wisdom on how to handle matter's, how to respond to Situations. Prayer: Lord grant unto me the wisdom to handle my affairs with discretion, to know when to be silent , when to talk and what to say at all times.
