Ceribell │ AI-Powered Point-of-Care EEG’s Post

Just published in Neurology, the SAFER-EEG retrospective study of 890 patients shows that performance of the 2HELPS2B score on Ceribell #POCEEG is comparable to conventional EEG for forecasting seizure risk in acutely ill patients. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dDYBuvYp

Exciting times are ahead: Intelligent EEG for forecasting - and not just simply diagnosing In Neurology, instead of waiting to treat problems when they arise, we now can use specific features in brainwaves to accurately FORECAST issues before they occur. This shift allows us to focus on easy and affordable preventive measures rather than costly reactive treatments. Thanks to advancements in technology, we don't need heavy or expensive machinery for this forecasting. All we need is A I-ntelligent equipment! Here is a paper off the press on forecasting seizures by leading neurologists at Harvard, University of New Mexico, University of Wisconsin, and Yale (alphabetical order) who compared our Ceribell technology directly with their expensive, heavy machinery of conventional EEG. doi:10.1212/WNL.0000000000209621 #EEG #Neurology #brain #seizure
