If you’re not “sweating your assets”, are you even comms’ing? 🌡️💦 We helped the Adelphi Genetics Forum ‘sweat’ their annual conference so they made impact on the day AND in the months that followed. Read what we did here https://lnkd.in/eKMESGyi The Adelphi Genetics Forum asked us how to get more out of their live conference. Our answer: Reusable AV content. Taking advantage of their stellar speakers being in one place at the same time, we produced a series of shorter videos 🎥 and longer podcast interviews 🎤 offering additional context and reflections on important topics in the field of heredity. The videos have gathered ~8,000 views since their publication, and the podcasts were shared through the Adelphi Genetics Forum’s own website and released and promoted through Genetics Unzipped (a podcast we produced for the Genetics Society). These combined significantly widened the conference’s reach to those with a shared interest in genetics and inheritance. And best of all, these assets can keep on sweatin’! Want to see your content sweat more? Drop First Create The Media a line info@firstcreatethemedia.com to book a chat. #sciencecommunication #podcasts #videos #communications #scicomm

The first episode of 'SCIENCE at nanoscale' features Dr. Jasmin Kaur, an expert in developing a general theory to help study the importance of tuning the local work function of metal electrode surfaces for better electrochemical efficiency. Jasmin, in her PhD work, predicted the effect of the size and shape of metal nanoparticles on the local work function in addition to the effect of solvent surroundings. We, in this episode, get into a deep dive discussion to further understand the implications of her theoretical results on better catalyst designs for electrochemical systems.
