This adjustment enables more transactions to utilize standard underwriting criteria. The FHA emphasizes that this is the first increase in the limit since 2014. The goal is to simplify underwriting for multifamily housing development while managing risk appropriately. This change allows borrowers involved in large-scale projects to more easily qualify for standard FHA underwriting requirements, which is particularly crucial in the current environment of rising construction costs and other barriers faced by multifamily developers and investors. 5 years ago, this month I closed on my first piece of real estate. The inspector came and was talking about soffit, fascia, vapor barriers, etc .. and I had no clue of “industry jargon”. Special thanks to Chelsea Perry for being a friend; also the agent/broker who gave me the knowledge of what he meant, and found the investment. Since then, I’ve accumulated a sizable portfolio of properties. Long story short .. I’m trying to get them to change the name from “At-lan-ta” to “At-Van-ta” 😂🤷🏽♂️😂. #RealEstate #CashFlow #GenerationalWealth
